The cheese by the time it got to us was melted but the slicer was worth the price because I will use it for years!

Dissapointed! The cutter was very cheap & flimsey. The cheese always good but where are we to find more the same size? No Value Here. Never Again!

Definitely what I expected. It should be used on a flat or slightly domed surface or chunks break off on the bottom of the cheese bar. When slicing Cracker Barrel bars, you have to cut about 1/4-1/3 of the end off before slicing. A slow steady pressure ensures even slices.
