The outer chocolate covering was so hard that you had to knife saw it to try and cut a piece. This resulted in using a lot of pressure, which ultimately would break and mash the inside making it messy and difficult to serve a nice piece. The cake flavor was great but the hard chocolate covering overwhelmed the soft cake texture. Even sitting at room temperature didn't help.

Rich chocolate frosting makes this cake a good choice to serve company at a special occasion, or just for that treat to impress your family. The chocolate fudge buttercream inside makes the cake extra rich! A little slice'll do ya!
