Wonderful

I have not eaten Torte in a while. I could hardly wait to get the package open. Yummy - just love it! I'll save it for when I really need a chocolate fix.

The Chocolate Dobosh Torte is excellent! The rich chocolate flavor is just delicious! It is extremely difficult to have only one piece!! We look forward to buying it every year!!!

Not what I expected

Delicious Dobosh

I gave this dobosh torte to my sister for a Christmas present, and she said that it was excellent and she was very satisfied. I will probably give this to her next year too. Maybe she will share it with me!

Great Item When Fresh

We really enjoy the texture of this cake. I described it to a guest as a giant softened Kit Kat bar, but with a smooth, cool European taste. Layers of very thick & creamy chocolate with a texture that doesn't weigh you down like basic frosting, but is more like a dense & sugary mousse. Very satisfying. This order though, most of our products were dry and stale. The outer chocolate was extremely dry & cracked like ice until we put it in the oven. When I was younger, I remember the chocolate melting in my mouth quickly even as I nibbled on it straight out the fridge on Christmas mornings. A memory I did not re-live this year.
