Ratings & Reviews

Butter Stollen is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 398.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A winner Remembering Christmasses past in our German American family. This stollen was absolutely the best and closest to my mother's home made. Just delicious and deserving of the five star rating.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing! Very dry and crumbling. Almost stale taste. How disappointing given the high price and shipping. Was unable to offer it to my guest as planned.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Americanized Stollen This stolen looked authentic for a marzipan Stollen, but is far too sweet. They used granulated sugar with a sort of lemon flavor as a coating all over the top and bottom. If you cut out a section from the center then it does taste more like a real German Stollen my parents used to make. (I'm a German immigrant) I was very disappointed when I served this to some friends. On the bright side the heavy box it came in offered good protection during shipping

Question & Answer

The Christmas stollen looks like the marzipan center is missing. Additionally it was sold without raisins as an alternative. Two major changes this year.
