Please stop selling these cookies they are gross
Please stop selling these cookies. They are flavorless and nasty. For years my kids grandparents have purchased these cookies for holidays and sent them to them. And every year we make fun of how nasty they are. But they have definitely gotten worse over the years and this year there aren’t even any chocolate cookies to offer a pretense of flavor. These are so nasty, if you can’t make a cookie well just stop making them. If you are considering buying these for a gift, please don’t so that your relatives and loved ones don’t have to find someone to pawn them off on.

Not worth it
I bought these cookies for Christmas, and am glad I kept them and didn't give them as a gift. I would have been embarrassed. They were dry, stale, and almost all of them were broken into pieces or crumbs. I won't buy from here again.

Hard and Tasteless
I bought these cookies for my husband because he always liked them. This year they were hard and no taste to them. What happened? They used to be a nice assortment with icing on them and very tasty. I won't order these again.

I Am Knocking Out, Three Birds, One Stone
I bought three of these this past Christmas and sent them as gifts this year. I like these cookies, but I had a different treat from Swiss Colony. All three of the Holiday Cookies made their destinations, two in Indiana, and one to Oregon on time. Like clockwork! But my sister didn't like that I sent her a gift, and asked me why? I said because that's what makes the season, the Spirit of Christmas, and she sent me a hundred dollars. Haha, well, once I deposited her gift, her check cleared. So, She texted and said: you're welcome. Haha, I love her!

A not-so-merry christmas experience
I will start by saying that I have never personally sampled the holiday cookies from the review below. However, I feel compelled to chime in due to the fact that my friend "Not Happy" seems to have been hurt on a very personal level by changes to them. Seriously, he has been inconsolable since he dug in past that first layer of fancy cookies only to find something registering barely above a communion wafer lurking below. When he was a boy growing up in the slums of Warsaw, he yearned for a time in his life when the simplest of pleasures, in this case a fancy cookie, would ignite his inner Christmas spirit. This year, I witnessed that very same spirit being extinguished in real time as the top layer of fancy cookie was removed with such excitement, only to find a glorified cracker waiting below. Do better, happiness is at stake.

Not even close to what they use to be
I've been buying these cookies for my family for 20 years. Never again. They changed everything about them. Put one somewhat fancy cookie on top of 3 cookies you buy at dollar general. Swiss colony should be a shamed of themselves. For the prices they charge and they outsource. Merry Christmas, I think not!
