Ratings & Reviews

Miniature Baklava Desserts is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1294.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not made with honey Traditionally baklava is made with real honey and sugar.... this is made with HF corn syrup and regular corn syrup and sugar, there is no honey in it and it tastes just like that. It's basically just corn syrup and filling. However, it inspired me to try and make my own, using real honey instead of corn syrup. Thanks for inspiring me.. I ended up throwing this one away.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Miniature Baklava Purchased for myself. It is horrible. It is hard and it tasted bad. It was no way flakey and moist like it;s supposed to be. It was so hard couldn’t get it out of the box. Will never buy it again

How long will the baklava be good for wrapped?

Asked by: Sunshine
Baklava is meant to be consumed fairly quickly. Over about a week, for example. However, one can put it in the refrigerator to extend how long it will last, which is about a month or so. Do be aware that putting in the refrigerator will make it harder when you bite into it so let it sit for about 30 minutes before you eat it out of the refrigerator. It will not go bad if you let it sit to soften. And you can put it right back into the refrigerator. Or you can take out what you want and let that sit for about 30 minutes to soften up and leave everything else in the fridge.

Is this product too sweet? I enjoy light sweet treats only.

Asked by: Testeroni
Baklava is sickeningly sweet whether it has only honey, or honey and High Fructose Corn Syrup combined. I've had tons of both over the decades. And unless "Steve777" is a doctor or a nurse, it's totally inappropriate for him to be preaching about what HFCS does to a body. The answer to a question like that depends on how much is being consumed and over how long a duration one consumes it. If one consumes it a few times in a year, it'll likely do nothing except add extra calories that belong to no food group. If one consumes it all the time and in most of the food they eat, yes, there are plenty of negative ramifications on the body. It also depends on existing medical issues like being a diabetic, for example. And I *AM* a nurse!

I want to order these because they look delicious despite the negative comments I’m reading, however, I don’t want to receive a stale pack. This worries me.

Asked by: Ashbash
My pack was not stale in the slightest. It was fresh and lasted for a good amount of time. You can try putting them into the fridge to help preserve the freshness

Is the Baklava made with real honey or corn syrup or artificial sweeteners? Also in what percentages? Thank You, Frank
