Not a favorite, for my taste buds
A quality product, but, I don't know, the sausage wasn't to my liking. It was fresh and well packaged, but I think I'm just not a fan of the meats like this, as much as I like to think that I am. The cheeses were excellent, and I think next year I'll order the cheese package, without the sausage. It is no fault of Swiss Colony, and, if you are a meats fan, I'm sure you'll be happy. I wanted to give it a try this year, because the concept always sounds so good, haha, but, I'll stick with just their delicious cheeses, for the holiday next year.

What is the weight of each item? Is Refrigeration required? Pick up place /location? Thanks. M Marquis
Each Cheese bar weighs 7 OZ and each Beef Log is 51/2 OZ yes has to be refrigerated and will be delivered to your door or if you are buying it as a gift it will be delivered to the person receiving it. Swiss Colony uses either Fed EX or USPS to deliver your package I hope this is helpful

How long will these keep in the refrigerator if not opened?
I don't know if they have a recommended eat by date but we have ordered them in say December and opened one or two we forgot about in February and they were like the day we got them and they tasted fine. Again this was our experience and we could have just been lucky.

Do the meat and cheese need to be refrigerated before opening? I bought a couple sets for gifts and don't want them to go bad.
the boxes are marked perishable and need to be refrigerated. What i would do would be to keep in refrigerator till ready to ship then put a couple Ice Packs around the boxes on the the day you ship they should be fine

How can I send an item to someone else?
When you order the item, it asks if you want it sent to a different address than the billing address. It asks the address for each item.

Are the beef summer sausage and honey ham summer sausage ready to eat? No cooking required?
Yes, all of the sausages are ready to eat. I like to cut up the sausages and cheese into bite size pieces and put them on crackers. This pack is definitely a favorite around football time!
