Dry candy coated cake.
This is basically dried out cake with a flavor layer (the best part of the cake) that is then dipped in a heavy candy and allowed to dry. They look cute but very disapointed for in the quality for the price. So sad.

Received these little petits as a gift and it’s amazing, it’s delicious! Tried ordering some for family members to try but shipping is a little pricey. Maybe after the holidays.

Can I hand pick only flavors I want or do I have to buy just whatever comes in the box?
You can't pick your flavors. You can get a box all red velvet, all snickerdoodle, and all coconut.. All of the Petits Fours are good and my family has always like them.

When should I order to receive petit fours around 12/11/20? Are they frozen for shipping?
I would place my order now because you can request when item is to be delivered on. I have never had a missed delivery date that I requested. No freezer packs shipped, your box will simply come in cardboard protecting the shrink wrapped box that you see in the brochure. I ordered these a few times but they don't seem to be as tasty as before, but yes, you have to keep them refrigerated once you open or receive them from the mail. Not sure if they changed their recipe slightly, but you be the judge.
